Fahrenheit
is a scale for measuring temperature, usually abbreviated
as F. The freezing point of water is 32° F,
and boiling point of water is 212° F. The normal
oral temperature is 97.3° to 98.8° F. The
rectal temperature is about 1 F higher than the
oral temperature. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius,
one can use the formula: (degrees in F - 32) multiplied
by 5/9. |
