Research in the Horvath laboratory focuses on signal transduction and gene expression in mammalian cells. Several biomedically relevant signaling pathways are under investigation, examining both the activation and propagation of intracellular signaling and the general and gene-specific phenomena controlling downstream transcriptional regulation.
